If this country music thing doesn’t work out for Taylor Swift, she can always fall back on being a hair stylist! Personally, I think that would be a better profession for her, but that’s just my opinion. (We’re not fans of country music here, in case you didn’t know.)
During her appearance on The Tonight Show, she talked to Jay Leno about experimenting with cutting hair, while on the road.
She said that her backup singer wanted something done with her hair, so Taylor suggested that she get a hair cut. Then, she asked Taylor to cut her hair for her. She said, “I get scissors, I’m like…I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m the last person you should suggest to cut your hair. But I cut her hair.”
She added, “She looked awesome. So I started cutting all the people on the road’s hair!”

According to reports, she has just used her gazillions of dollars to by a new house for her parents. How nice!
She purchased a nice three bedroom home in Nashville, Tennessee, and paid a whopping $1.4 million for it. What a nice gift. A source said, “It’s an incredible house. Taylor’s been visiting her parents there and she’s so excited for them.”
We’ve also heard rumblings that Taylor Swift is doing a drug and alcohol free tour for Speak Now. Reportedly, she’ll be drug and alcohol testing all of her tour mates. Obviously something is working out for her, she can afford to pay a million bucks for her parents a new house….

Country singer Taylor Swift has no intention of shedding any clothes in order to sell records.
She said, “I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don’t feel comfortable taking my clothes off. I wouldn’t wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life, so I don’t think it’s necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots.”
Taylor swift says she wants to remain in control, thus the reason for not drinking. She added, “I worry I might come off in a way that I can’t control [and] of you’re yelling, you’re the one who’s lost control of the conversation.”

Just a day before winning entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Taylor Swift dined at the Bellagio's Yellowtail restaurant. Joined by her mother and a few of her band members, the singer sat at an outdoor table – overlooking the casino's famed fountain show – and dined on sushi.

• Country stars Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan joined Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott for her birthday bash at GOLD Boutique Nightclub and Lounge in Sin City on Friday. Scott's bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood stopped by to celebrate, too, and helped the birthday girl blow out the candles on her cake. She must've made a big wish: Sunday night, the trio nabbed album of the year and top vocal group honors at the ACM Awards.

The 21-year-old said that she turned her hand to a bit of hair design whilst touring in Asia and Europe and that her talents were soon in demand. Appearing on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, she said, "One day my backup singer was like, 'I feel like I need to do something drastically different'. I said, 'Why don't you cut your hair?' "She said, 'Let's do it now!' So we're kind of delirious from the road and I get scissors and I don't know what I'm doing. She wanted full bangs and I was like, 'I have no training! I'm the last person you should suggest to cut your hair.' "She looked awesome so I started cutting all the people on the road's hair."

Taylor Swift has reportedly splashed out $1.4million for a luxury home for her parents. The 21-year-old country singer is said to have bought the three-bedroom, 5,000 square-foot estate in Nashville for Andrea and Scott Swift. According to Us Magazine, the 1920s built property boasts a blue stone terrace and a massive outdoor fireplace. "It's an incredible house," a source said. "Taylor's been visiting her parents there and she's so excited for them." The Grammy award winner, who splits her time between Nashville and California, has also invested in a Los Angeles home for herself. A second source explained, "She is in LA so much - and she was paying a fortune in hotel charges."

 country music superstar Taylor Swift and ‘Tron: Legacy’ star Garrett Hedlund? I can see this (better than I see Taylor with Jake Gyllenhaal, at least ). The couple reportedly had a romantic date in Nashville.

“It was their first time going out,” a source tells Us Weekly. “They’ve been emailing for a while, and she hinted they should get together.
“”She has actually spent time getting to know Garrett,” says the insider. “He’s cute — and he’s into country music! [She] likes that he’s a normal guy.”

So it sounds like there are good possibilities here. Then again, Taylor was also spotted with Chord Overstreet. I think it’s smart for her to just date guys and get to know them, don’t you?
